About Us

Our Mission
in Motion

A Mindful Resource Inc. is dedicated to advancing mental wellness, emotional resilience, and equitable access to care in historically underserved communities across Dallas–Fort Worth and beyond.

Why We Exist

The mental health system in America was not built with our communities in mind. For Black and Brown families, for immigrant communities, for LGBTQ+ neighbors, and for low-income households, the barriers to care are not just financial — they are cultural, linguistic, and deeply rooted in historical mistrust.

Consider the reality: 1 in 5 adults in the United States experiences mental illness each year. Over 70% of adults have lived through at least one traumatic event. Black men are significantly less likely to receive mental health treatment than any other demographic. And more than half of all youth with a mental health disorder receive no treatment at all.

These are not just numbers. These are our brothers, our sisters, our children, and our neighbors. And they deserve better.

A Mindful Resource Inc. was founded on a simple but radical idea: trust comes before treatment.

We center dignity and lived experience. We deliver skills-building and care navigation that reflects our communities. And we show up — not in offices, but on blocks, at schools, in barbershops, and at community events.
